450 watts x 8 hrs ( @ min 850 watts / M2 ) = 3.6 Kw Hr
then, 3,400 Btu x 3.6 Kw = 12,840.0 Btu Day,
then at 8.3 Btu / deg / gal = 1,546 gal / delta T / 1 deg,
then on 300 gallon hot tub = 5.10 delta T / day.
Example: Suppose a 300 gallon hot tub ( with insulating pool cover ) at 90 deg F in morning will go to ~95 deg F by 6 PM. This batch thermosiphon water heater from end of May to beginning of September will typically deliver 40 to 50 gallons of 110 deg water per 8 hour day at 900 watts / M2, AM 1.
